These Terms &amp; Conditions govern all engagements with Techmate Frome, whether in-person or remote. By booking or receiving services, you agree to the following terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Scope of Services (Applies to All Clients)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Services include but are not limited to: device troubleshooting, software support, tuition, setup assistance, and digital guidance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Services are delivered from a home-based setup or at client premises (home or office), as agreed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Techmate Frome does not sell hardware or software and is not responsible for third-party products or warranties.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Booking &amp; Cancellation Policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For Consumers:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with <strong>at least 24 hours\u2019 notice<\/strong> at no charge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of <strong>50% of the booked session<\/strong>, unless waived at Techmate Frome\u2019s discretion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Missed appointments without notice may be charged in full.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For Business Clients:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cancellations must be made with <strong>at least 48 hours\u2019 notice<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Late cancellations may incur the full session fee unless otherwise agreed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ongoing contracts may include bespoke cancellation terms outlined in the service agreement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Client Responsibilities (Applies to All Clients)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Data Backup:<\/strong> Clients are solely responsible for backing up all data prior to any service. Techmate Frome accepts no liability for data loss, corruption, or device failure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Access &amp; Environment:<\/strong> Clients must ensure safe, uninterrupted access to the device and workspace.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Licensing &amp; Legality:<\/strong> Clients must ensure all software used is legally licensed. Techmate Frome will not assist with pirated or unlicensed software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Payment Terms<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For Consumers:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Payment is due immediately upon completion of the session, unless otherwise agreed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accepted methods: bank transfer, cash, or other agreed formats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For Business Clients:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Invoices are issued post-service and payable within <strong>14 days<\/strong>, unless otherwise agreed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Late payments may incur interest at <strong>8% plus Bank of England base rate<\/strong>, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Limitation of Liability (Applies to All Clients)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Techmate Frome shall not be liable for:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Loss of data, software, or hardware during or after service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any loss arising from client failure to back up data or disclose relevant information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in question.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Consumer Rights &amp; Business Contracts<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For Consumers:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If services are not delivered with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a remedy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>For Business Clients:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Services are provided under contract law principles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No warranties are implied beyond those expressly stated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. Confidentiality &amp; Data Protection (Applies to All Clients)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Any personal or business information shared during service will be treated confidentially and in accordance with UK GDPR.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Techmate Frome does not retain client data beyond what is necessary for service delivery and invoicing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8. Amendments &amp; Jurisdiction<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These Terms &amp; Conditions may be updated periodically. The latest version will be available at www.techmatefrome.co.uk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All services are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
